Creating a new registrar

To create a new registrar 🔗:

1. Go to the application console 🔗.

2. Click + NEW APP.

3. Name your new registrar and specify at least one redirect URL. These are URLs where the user lands after Royal ID verification. For testing purposes, it is useful to have a landing page at localhost.

   

4. Click CREATE APP.

5. Click the tile for your new registrar, type a unique user name and click SAVE.

   Username verification

   To verify that your proposed user name is not in use, go to the ID Registry contract 🔗 (either production 🔗 or testing 🔗) and search for it. If execution reverts, it means the user name is available.

   

6. This is it, your registrar is now available and you can immediately start using it to record provenance in your application.
